Auditions for Joe Orton’s dark comedy “Loot” will be held at Edison Valley Playhouse on Sunday, November 23 & Monday, November 24, from 7-9 PM.  The show runs Friday and Saturday nights from January 23- February 7.  Directed by Bill Martinak, all roles are open, and all will be performed in a British accent.  Monologues not required, but greatly appreciated.

Roles:

McLeavy: recent widower, older gentleman

Fay: nurse, mid- to late-twenties

Hal: McLeavy’s son, late teens, early twenties

Dennis: friend of Hal; late teens, early twenties

Truscott: policeman; middle aged

Meadows: policeman; somewhat younger than McLeavy

(The director is not opposed to the idea of cross-casting the policemen.)
